Sacrifice

Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), known as Khalil Allah (the Friend of God), is the patriarch of monotheism, the builder of the Kaaba, and the ancestor of both the Israelite and Ishmaelite prophetic lines culminating in Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Known as Ismail in Arabic, Ishmael was the firstborn son of Abraham, a prophet who helped build the Kaaba, established the settlement of Mecca, and became the ancestor of the Arab peoples and Prophet Muhammad.

Suhaib ibn Sinan al-Rumi, an early companion of Prophet Muhammad, sacrificed his entire fortune to emigrate from Mecca to Medina. The Prophet declared him 'the profit of the trade' and the Quran praised those who sell themselves seeking God's pleasure.
