Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam served as India's eleventh President (2002–2007) and was a principal architect of the country's missile programme and a coordinator of the 1998 nuclear tests. A DRDO and ISRO scientist, he became a symbol of Indian scientific aspiration.

Babur (1483-1530), a Timurid prince who lost his Central Asian homeland, conquered Kabul, and founded the Mughal Empire in India after his victory at Panipat in 1526 — equally renowned as a warrior, poet, and memoirist whose Baburnama is a masterpiece of world literature.

Hamdard Laboratories (India) is a Unani pharmaceutical company and welfare institution founded in Old Delhi in 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed. Converted into a waqf in 1948 under his son Hakeem Abdul Hameed, it produces Rooh Afza and established Jamia Hamdard university in Delhi.

The Taj Mahal (1632-1653 CE) is an ivory-white marble mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Located in Agra, India, this masterpiece blends Persian, Islamic, and Indian architectural traditions, representing the pinnacle of Mughal achievement.

An organisation founded by Abul A'la Maududi at Lahore in August 1941 to form a disciplined body of Muslims who would remake society according to Islamic norms. After the partition of India it divided into separate and independent organisations in Pakistan, India and later Bangladesh.
